The shortcut from data to Information... Information design is the art of leaving things out.

Users only want to see in their window what they need on a specific moment for a specific problem. With Information design the content is, different from graphical design, more important than the looks.

Information design is very important in the small space of a computer window.

To often there is to much data on the screen, not optimal structured and not according to the logics of the user behind the keyboard.

Software should not be the territory of the builder(s). The person who has to work with the software should be heart. Never the less I still see user friendly software, accompanied by massive manuals.

My challenge is to design self explaining software, a window containing clear information. Software that does not need to be explained (without manual). If necessary including a digital educational environment.
